Mikala had her first Reiki treament "just for fun" when she was 15. However, the healing energy she felt, the colors and imigenry she unexpectdly saw set her on a quest to understand energy.

While continuing to provide healing treametns since her two years of edcuation in 2003 she lived her life's purpose of founding and oper ting the creative sewing studio.

In addion to founding and operating The Creative Sewing for over 19+ years she is also co-artist/owner of Cloth and Clover Co. 

She has studied with Brett Bevel, Tina Zion and Joe Dispenza to conitue expanding her knowledge in ways we can better enhance out lives without pharmasudicla or to complement them . 

She has taught over 8,000 studetns in her brick and morter and at locations such as the Omega Institute, An Unlikely Story and School One to name a few. She has sttiched/designed for the Hungton Theater, Rhode SIsland COllage Theater, worked under fashion desingers and was a dresser for fashion sows.
